For rail fans several historic trains are still in use:

The Royal Train: it was manufactured in 1928 by Ernesto Breda in Milan on behalf of the royal family of Romania.

Moldovita Train: original train manufactured in 1885-1890 by Simmering Works (Austria) on behalf of Romanian Railway System CFR.

Calugareni Train: it is the oldest train in Romania. It was manufactured in 1866-1869 by Ashbury Works (Manchester, United Kingdom) for the first Romanian railway Bucharest-Giurgiu inaugurated in 1869.
